Colleen Powers, a popular singer/songwriter from Newfoundland, has teamed up with Newfie bluegrass band Crooked Stovepipe for a fun-filled CD of children’s music. For Little Ones offers 14 songs, including children’s favorites like Muffin Man along with a number of Powers’ clever songs for the younger set.
These are all songs that your kids and grandkids will love to sing, and a great way to imbed the bluegrass bug in their tiny little minds! Lyrics for all the songs can be found on Powers’ web site.
Colleen sings the leads with Ted Rowe on guitar, Neil Rosenberg on banjo, Dave Rowe on bass and mandolin, and Charles Cook on fiddle.
