Each Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. (MST) I host a one hour bluegrass show called ‘Fire on the Mountain’ on the CKUA Radio network.

The programme is heard all across Alberta and around the world at http://ckua.streamon.fm and is re-broadcast at 4:00 a.m. (MST) on Sunday mornings. If you’re unable to tune in at the scheduled times you can record the show free of charge at www.DAR.fm. Thanks to everyone who has been recording the show. You’ll hear the original voices of bluegrass such as Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs and the Stanley Brothers as well as progressive bluegrass artists such as Sam Bush, the Punch Brothers and Larry Keel & Natural Bridge. The programme also features Alberta musicians, bluegrass bands from other parts of Canada, interviews with touring artists and weekly updates on the Alberta bluegrass scene. Playlists are posted on the CKUA website, my blog page, FOLK-DJ and BGRASS-L and are reported to the Bluegrass Today charts and the Roots Music Report.
