This band is right on target for your bluegrass event. Covering traditional, contemporary, gospel and original tunes with a “Bull’s Eye” twist. Formed in 1999 by band leader Bull Harman, Bull’s Eye is reliable and dedicated to bring your audience a concert or workshop showing talent and professionalism.
Playing the guitar since the age of 10, Bull is well known throughout the Midwest. From 1996-1999, he performed as part of Rhonda Vincent’s group, The Rage. He has released 2 solo projects, both giving Bull the attention and respect in the bluegrass community that he has long deserved. He is a popular guitar workshop instructor as well as host of the St. Louis Flatpick Workshop Weekend held each March. Bull has won the SPBGMA Midwest Guitar Player of the Year – 5 times. Bull is also the Chairman of the Missouri Area Bluegrass Committee, the longest running bluegrass organization in the Midwest and a 2006 graduate of the IBMA’s Leadership Class.
Bull’s Eye brings fun and energy to the stage with Hal Cottrell on mandolin and vocals, Alex Riffle on banjo and vocals, and Wyatt Harman on bass and vocals. Bull’s wife Tammy, occasionally joins the guys for a vocal or two.
With numerous awards to their name, including Silver Dollar City’s 2009 National Single Mic Winners, 2011 SPBGMA Midwest Contemporary Band and Instrumental Band of the Year and 2012 SPBGMA Midwest Contemporary Band of the year. 2015 Entertaining Band of the Year. Tammy won the 2013 & 2015 Female Vocalist of the Year and Bull is the 2015 Entertainer of the Year.
All members of the unique band are promoters and supporters of bluegrass. Having exhibited, volunteered and attended WOB for the last 2 decades, they are all also members of many associations, event producers in their local areas and even hold titles of Chairman, Editor, and Membership Director for bluegrass clubs.
