Since the start in 2006, the festival has been hosted by Remington Ryde, and managed by the band’s guitarist and vocalist, Ryan Frankhouser. But what began as a way to help promote the band, and give their fans a chance to join them for a weekend, has expanded to the point where a new site was required.
Ryan says the move was his only option.
“I changed locations because I ran out of room in the park I was in. Also I wanted to find a location with full hookups and showers, and on these grounds they offer 1500 full hookup sites and brand new shower houses.
I started the festival when I was 22 years old. It has always been a dream of mine and its been a dream come true!”
It’s always good news when bluegrass events see this level of success.
