Each of their 40 dealers in the US has one of these handmade, solid wood guitars, valued at $1050, to give away during the month of March.
Many bluegrass players are familiar with Eastman’s mandolins, while these quality imported guitars are just starting to generate some notice. John Miller, guitarist with The Travelers, has been an Eastman endorser and clinician for several years, and speaks quite highly of what they turn out.
“The Eastman Traditional series guitars will hang sonically with instruments two to three times the price! The Adirondack red spruce tops are the way to go for bluegrass players. Then add scalloped braces to boot, and you have a sound that we in the bluegrass world will turn our heads for.
I think the guitars are great and a lot of other players feel the same way!”
Here’s a video of John performing with The Eastman String Band, on an Eastman guitar of course.
If you would like to enter to win an AC-420, get to an Eastman dealer, and submit your entry by 3/31.
