Wayne Taylor surgery a success

Blue Highway’s Wayne Taylor underwent successful quadruple bypass surgery this morning. As of 2:15 p.m., he is in recovery and resting. His wife, Sharon, and Tim Stafford are with him at the hospital.

Doctors plan to get Wayne up and walking sometime tomorrow, and expect a complete recovery.

Daniel Salyer will fill Wayne’s spot with the band this weekend.

May 22 – Neighborhood Theatre – Charlotte, NC

An announcement about Wayne’s return will be made soon.

Sharon Taylor shared thanks for all the kind words they have received, saying, “Please continue with the love and prayers. They are working really well. Love you all!”
