The Bluegrass Blog wants you!

The Bluegrass Blog is set to undergo some dramatic modifications this year, to which I have alluded in recent weeks. The changes are occurring as a result of the departure of my dear friend and founding co-blogger Brance Gillihan, and a new opportunity that has presented itself in roughly this same time frame.

This will involve a major expansion of the news and information we offer on the site, and a number of new features and functions that we think our readers will enjoy – and which will help cement the sense of community that those of us in the bluegrass world feel with one another.

We’ll be sharing more about all this in weeks to come. Our plan is to unveil the new site before IBMA week in Nashville this Fall.

As we move into the “new blog order,” we will have positions for folks who might want to contribute on irregularly, on up to people willing and able to write on a daily basis. There will be a few (poorly) paid staff positions, and room for many more contributors who may be interested in volunteer or trade situations, at least initially.
