Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band on Woodsongs

Peter Rowan and his bluegrass band – which we profiled during IBMA week – was a recent guest on the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour. They performed selections from the new album, Legacy, from the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band.

Rowan, celebrated songwriter and vocalist famous for his work with Bill Monroe, Tony Rice, David Grisman, Jerry Garcia and others, is joined in this new venture by Jody Stetcher on mandolin, Keith Little on banjo and Paul Knight on bass.

In addition to airing live each Monday evening from Lexington, KY, Woodsongs also is available as streaming video with archives maintained online. Pete also speaks at length with host Michael Jonathon about his life and music.
