Noam will give his thoughts on the current state of the bluegrass world on Tuesday, September 24, the opening day of IBMA’s big week in Raleigh, NC. His address is scheduled during a reception that afternoon from 4:00-5:30 p.m., just prior to the first set of showcase performances in what the organization is billing as the Bluegrass Ramble. Shows will take place in the Raleigh Convention Center ballroom, and in six nearby downtown clubs.
His work with Punch Brothers has showed him a side of the entertainment business few bluegrass artists are able to see, and his reflections should be a must-see moment for anyone planning to attend.
Full details on the World of Bluegrass can be found at the IBMA web site, along with information about their 2013 Awards Show and the weekend’s Wide Open Bluegrass Festival.
