Hot Rize, Claire Lynch live on the radio

Th next two days offer a couple of great opportunities to hear live bluegrass on the radio. If you can be close to your computer during the day, you can catch sets from Hot Rize and Claire Lynch online.

First up on Friday at noon (EDT), Claire will be featured on Blue Plate Special, airing on WDVX in Knoxville. The show is broadcast at 102.9 FM in east Tennessee, simulcast online at www.wdvx.com.

Then on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. (EDT), Hot Rize will join the host at WAMU’s Bluegrass Country before their show at The Birchmere that night. They will perform live in the studio, and chat with Katy Daley and Lee Michael Demsey until noon. It’s not certain whether Red and the boys will be allowed off the bus for the show.

Bluegrass Country streams online at www.bluegrasscountry.org, and is broadcast at 105.5 FM and HD radio 88.5-2.
