Just about all our Bluegrass Today staff and correspondents will be on hand, along with at least four photographers. Several of us will be participating in seminars during the Business Conference, and we look forward to seeing the many people we really only run into at IBMA.
On the site we’ll be covering the many events taking place all around downtown Raleigh, starting Monday afternoon and running through Saturday night. In fact, it usually takes us a few days into the following week to get all the material up that we collect during World of Bluegrass.
Everyone who will be in attendance is invited to stop by and say howdy in the media room, where we will be set up. That’s in room 302 on the top floor of the convention center. Be sure to drop off your new projects if we don’t have them, or pass along any news that might be of interest to the bluegrass community.
We won’t be shooting video interviews this year, but we’ll still be interviewing bluegrass personalities, festival promoters, manufacturers, songwriters – shoot… anyone involved with bluegrass – for “print” pieces on the site.
If you can’t be there in Raleigh, you can keep up with WOB goings-on right here, all week long. Photos will go up as quickly as we can get them checked and posted, plus news from the exhibit hall about new products and services. We’ll tell you all about the new acts we catch, and who has “the buzz” going around the conference.
Unfortunately, there won’t be live video from the Awards Show this year, but IBMA promises to post updates on their Facebook and Twitter feeds, and we’ll have the complete winner’s list after the show.
Hope we see you there!
