Lisa Jacobi – Correspondent

BluegrassToday-LisaJacobiBr Lisa Jacobi is one of those creative sprites whose intention is to spread greater good throughout the world by way of pen, musical note, compassionate ear, or sage advice she has gleaned from her wide ranging life adventures and travels.

She brings to Bluegrass Today her cross column-podcast-video project, Artist2Artist with Lisa Jacobi interviewing some of bluegrass music’s most soulfully connected musical artists. Her interview style springs from experience gained as a network television news producer, contributor to mainstream magazines including Self, Outside, Men’s Journal, Summit, Playboy (yes, Playboy), and as an itinerant outdoor life essayist for National Public Radio.

On the professional music front, Lisa is a successful songwriter – her music has been licensed by a number of television shows, movies and other media projects. She is a mutli-instrumentalist and vocalist in the cosmic-bluegrass band Playing On The Planet

Lisa insists that her publishing schedule here at Bluegrass Today is at most a column once a month, on each and every *Full Moon* (that makes 13 times a year) … but knowing her energy, we suspect we’ll find her work here more often.
