Dick Bowden is a very traditional bluegrass picker and fan from New England, who makes occasional contributions to Bluegrass Today representing the old timers’ viewpoints.
Dick has contributed articles to Bluegrass Unlimited, and participated in several recordings including The Case Brothers – Martin & Gibson, Joe Meadows and The Old Time Bluegrass Singers.
He is on the teaching staff at Banjo Camp North.
With Mike Armistead, Dick co-produced the Old Tyme Opry for several years at IBMA World of Bluegrass.
If that isn’t enough, Dick is Staff Writer for the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band.
