FIRST TUESDAY MUSIC NIGHTS are free, open to the

public and members alike, offering live bluegrass and

folk music at the Round Table Pizza on the corner of Ash

& Washington Streets in Escondido beginning at 7 pm

on the first Tuesday of every month.

CAMPOUTS – 2 campouts per year, usually held the 3rd

weekend in April and in July. Lots of jamming, casual music workshops, potluck dinner, and an evening concert or band scramble or jamming opportunity for campers and the public. A chance to relax, meet new folks, and practice your music skills or learn new ones in a casual setting.

CONCERTS : NCBFC sometimes produces concerts of

local or touring artists around San Diego County. We

also help publicize concerts and festivals sponsored by

other associations who support bluegrass and folk or

acoustic music.

FESTIVALS – From 1999-2002 we produced the Julian

Bluegrass Festival. In 2003 NCBFC co-created (with

SDBS) a new event, Summergrass San Diego Bluegrass

Festival, now held every August in Vista CA

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER: We also offer our club publication The Bluegrass & Folk Broadcast every month to our members via email.
