Starting Sunday, September 26, the Johnson City Public Library will host a weekly Front Porch Concert Series with music starting at 3 p.m. Our first performers will be The MilBillies, whose music “straddles the line between the traditional and progressive schools of bluegrass along with hints of blues, punk, and country” (Bluegrass Unlimited). WAMI nominated New Artist of the Year (2020), The MilBillies music is “an explosion of banjos, guitars, and storytelling” (Shepherd Express).
The Front Porch Concert Series will take place outside on the Library’s front steps every Sunday at 3 p.m. through Sunday, October 24 and will feature different groups to entertain all ages.
