The Meyer Band consists of John Meyer (21) on banjo, David Meyer (19) on guitar, Mary Meyer (17) on mandolin, and Jimmy Meyer (15) on bass. All but Jimmy take turns with lead and harmony vocals. Originally from Missouri, the family has moved now to the Nashville area to accommodate their budding bluegrass career. And in addition to their very real musical skills, these Meyers are an improbably handsome lot.
Meyerband is the title of their five song EP which features the band’s bluegrass arrangements of pop and country songs, along with a Meyer original, and a strong Gospel number.
