Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival 2024

The Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival is an easy-going and inclusive festival focusing on bluegrass and other forms of roots music such as country, folk and Americana. In 2023, after ten successful editions on Pijnackerplein, the festival was organized for the first time on the Noordplein, with plenty of shade thanks to the trees that surround it. 12,000 unique visitors made their way to the Old North, from fans of the genre from all over the Netherlands and abroad, to neighborhood folk and other Rotterdam locals. The Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival also offers a variety of related programming, including theater, children’s activities, a jam area, comics, workshops, a market and numerous catering facilities. In the week leading up to the festival, various performances and activities will take place in the neighborhood and the rest of the city.
