Billy Strings is a 23 year old, tattoo covered guitar picker and singer from Michigan who has been making waves in the bluegrass scene and on the festival circuit. In 2016, he earned the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Instrumentalist of the Year Momentum Award for his guitar playing. He plays bluegrass with the energy and vigor of a grimacing, growling, full-on raging punk rock band.
