North Carolina Banjo Clinic

The annual North Carolina Banjo Clinic will happen Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th in Asheville at CrossPoint Church. Classes will begin at 8:30am and last until 4:30 pm each day with an hour and half break for lunch. Parking is free. The NCBC is a full 2-day instrument-learning event featuring Bluegrass and Clawhammer banjo instruction. A minimum of 12 hours of group banjo instruction will be offered. All teachers are seasoned banjo instructors. Classes will be offered for people who have never picked up a banjo through advanced players. Instruction will include learning by ear, demonstration, and by reading tablature. Private individual instruction after classes and banjo setup will also be available. We do not supply banjos so all students are required to bring a playable 5-string banjo, a strap, picks and a tuner. A notebook and pencil are highly recommended. We also recommend changing strings before coming. Use of video and taping are acceptable. Students can register for (1) or (2) days of instruction. Fees range from $175 – $295 per person depending on number of days. Learn more and register at Click on The North Carolina Banjo Clinic Logo. We look forward to seeing you there!
