Join us in exploring old-time music the week before the 47th Annual Mount Airy Bluegrass and Old-Time Fiddlers Convention. Classes include fiddle, banjo, guitar, bass, mandolin, singing, songwriting, and more. Ensembles and jams will be open to all who wish to attend and there is no need to register for them. The tuition includes classes, meals (Sunday dinner and lunch on Monday-Wednesday), Fiddlers Convention tickets, and a t-shirt.
The retreat is hosted by the Surry Arts Council and is supported in part by the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
