Monroe Crossing

When Minnesota-based Monroe Crossing first appeared at the Emelin in 2012, the band’s eclectic repertoire (from Bill Monroe to Motown), outstanding vocals and instrumentals, and instant rapport with the audience made them an immediate hit. Their music and stage show are as entertaining as it gets, which prompted a slew of requests for a return engagement. They have long been one of the busiest bands in bluegrass, playing well over 100 dates a year, but they rarely visit this part of the country. We are truly thrilled to have them back.
