Bluegrass Jamming Class
Taught by Scott Wilkins using the Wernick Method*
Saturday, Mar 4 11AM-7PM
Scott Wilkins has been jamming since 1974, first on bass, then mandolin and guitar. He has been teaching music for decades. He has performed throughout the U.S. and currently plays with numerous bands in South Jersey including The Blind Squirrels, Let’s Ride Bikes, and Gladstone Revival. Scott started an after-school program at Lindenwood High School, called “Hey, We’re Jammin’ ” in 2009. He currently runs monthly free jams at different local coffee shops (schedule on BackstageView.com under Coffee & Jammin’). Scott’s natural tendency is to encourage everyone to play an instrument, and his passion is to help beginners learn the art of jamming.
