Grand Ole Napa Valley Opry House Presents: The Faultliners, Rainy Eyes

The evening features a lively mix of pickin’, strummin’ and singin’ in the folk, bluegrass and Americana styles. Bluegrass duo Rainy Eyes will open the evening with their blend of folk, rock, and Americana, followed by popular performers The Faultliners, playing traditional bluegrass on fiddle, bass, guitar, banjo, and mandolin.

The Faultliners perform Traditional Bluegrass Music played in an original style by some of the most respected “side persons” in the business. The band formed at a session in Point Reyes Station, California where the San Andreas Fault meets the sea. Its members are Avram Siegel (banjo/vocals), Sharon Gilchrist (mandolin/vocals), Paul Knight (bass/vocals), Keith Little (guitar/vocals) and Blaine Sprouse (fiddle/vocals).

Rainy Eyes is a duo with Irena Eide on vocals and guitar, and Amy Scher providing fiddle and harmonies. Eide is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Bergen, Norway, whose songs carry elements of folk, bluegrass, Americana, rock, country and soul. Paired with Bay Area bluegrass fiddler/singer Amy Scher, their voices blend beautifully and create a soulful, heartfelt and timeless sound with tight knit harmonies and thoughtful songwriting.
