Hello friends and welcome to the first ever Boone Family Reunion Bluegrass Festival. My name is David Boone and I am the coordinator for what we envision to be a wonderful new event that takes place in the very heart of bluegrass country, Erwin, Tennessee. For years family and friends have gathered at our home place on Rock Creek and swapped stories, reminisced with old friends, made new ones, had a great meal, and then the music started. And believe me, this music was really good. A lot of talented musicians have made a visit to our home and graced us with their talents.With that in mind, we decided we wanted to give more people an opportunity to enjoy the music in a larger setting. And we wanted to bring not only local talent to the stage, but also bands and musicians that areæknown nation wide for everyone to enjoy. Thus, we have created the Boone Family Reunion Bluegrass Festival.The festival will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 26-27, 2017 andæwill be held at the Unicoi County High School Track located on S. Mohawk Drive, in Erwin, Tennessee.
