The South Huntsville Main Business Association and County Commissioner Phil Riddick are excited to announce the return of the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival on October 12th, from 1pm-7pm at Southside Park. This FREE community event offers a day filled with toe-tapping bluegrass music, delicious barbecue, and fun for the whole family.
Commissioner Phil Riddick shares, “We are again very excited about the event this year. We will be changing the format slightly to improve the listening experience with four bands instead of three and starting a little bit earlier. This is always a great event and as usual will be a wonderful way to spend a fall Saturday afternoon with the family and enjoy some great Bluegrass music.”
Mark your calendars for October 12th and join us at Southside Park on Chaney Thompson Road for a memorable day of music, food, and community spirit. Enjoy performances from The Becky Buller Band, Grasstronauts, The Ancient Tones, and Jim & Inge Wood. The first band kicks off at 1pm, with the final band taking the stage at 5:30pm.
In addition to the fantastic music, local food trucks will be on-site, serving a variety of mouthwatering dishes to satisfy every craving. Bring your picnic blanket or chair and enjoy a delightful afternoon in South Huntsville!
