Blueberry Bluegrass Festival

The Blueberry Bluegrass Festival, located in Stony Plain Alberta, Canada just west of Edmonton, is one of Western Canada’s largest festivals. It has been running for over 30 years. Some of the biggest names in country and bluegrass have graced this festivals stage. Such as: Marty Stuart, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Del McCoury, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Claire Lynch and many others including some fine local talent. We hold country dances Friday & Saturday nights. Jamming is important to us, we provide facilitated jamming in the Blueberry Patio and have jamming tents that are open 24/7, parking lot pickin’ is always encouraged. Bring your instruments to join in on the fun! Special Interest Workshops and Master Sessions are included in the festival ticket.The venue has onsite camping available. Kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Family activities include a petting, zoo, craft tent and a penny arcade to name a few. Concessions are also available for daytime snacking. Myhre’s Music has a booth at this festival so don’t worry about forgetting those picks, tuners, or capos. Myhre’s also has some quality instruments on display.
