2023 IBMA Bluegrass Event of the Year, Blue Highway Fest is an annual bluegrass music festival hosted by the town of Big Stone Gap and Blue Highway. Each year the festival features the best in bluegrass music and offers, rv camping, great food and craft beer.

Blue Highway Fest – Rising Stars Challenge!
Artists and bands everywhere are invited to be a part of Blue Highway Fest – Rising Stars Challenge by submitting an online application that includes 2 video performances (YouTube links) of your songs (1 cover and 1 original).
Blue Highway Fest YouTube Channel will showcase your performances with seven (7) of eight (8) finalists chosen by a panel of judges. The remaining finalist will be chosen by online voting as the “People’s Choice”.
Deadline for applications with video links is midnight September 1st, 2024.
