Welcome Annabelle Smith

Annabelle Blake SmithThis looks like a big week for bluegrass babies!

Kenny and Amanda Smith are also celebrating a birth, that of their first child, Annabelle Blake. Guitar players will grasp the significance of her middle name right away.

She was born last night (4/8) at 10:43 p.m. (CDT), weighing in at 6 lbs, 12 oz, and standing 19.75” tall.

The reigning IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year and her guitar slinging husband are delighted with their new addition. It won’t be long before those pruny little fingers are grabbing for a guitar, and she’s singing like a miniature angel.

Amada has a month to rest up before they have a show at the Doyle Lawson Festival in North Carolina. Kenny says Miss Annabelle will be going on the road with them, so everybody had better get ready.

Congratulations to Kenny and Amanda, and welcome to Annabelle Blake Smith!
