Video teaser from Ron Block

Hogan's House Of Music - Ron BlockRon Block is preparing a September 25 release for his first bluegrass banjo instrumental album, Hogan’s House Of Music. It will include a mix of his own new tunes, and some bluegrass and old time classics.

The title comes from the name of his dad’s music store in Lawndale, CA where the young Ron Block heard a wide array of musical styles while working as a teen.

Guests include his fellow members of Alison Krauss & Union Station, including the boss lady herself, and some of the top bluegrass players in Nashville.

Ron prepared this video tease with footage from the recording sessions, against music from the opening track, Smartville.

Pre-orders are enabled now from Ron’s web site and from iTunes.
