Up the creek with Bearfoot

It’s always fun to see the new and creative ways folks devise to promote and profit from engagement with bluegrass music and musicians. Over the years the up-close-and-personal instrumental workshops and camps with celebrated artists have become a commonplace, and bluegrass-themed cruises are announced with regularity.

Not long ago we had news about an African Safari Banjo Camp, and this week there is news about a rafting trip with Bearfoot in Idaho this summer.

For $1895 you get a 5 night/6 day whitewater rafting adventure, with the band performing two formal concerts and nightly jamming over the course of the trek.

Sounds like a hoot! You can find full details online from Sawtooth Adventure Company.
