Tina, who was lost to cancer on February 6, 2011, was a devoted promoter of bluegrass – especially James’ music – and an active member of the International Bluegrass Music Association. The plaque honors Aridas for her help in establishing a library at the museum, through her donation of a large number of books from her own collection.
