The Rock – new single from Terry Baucom

The Rock from Terry BaucomTerry Baucom has a new single release, out today, featuring Joey Lemons, the lead singer with Bauc’s group, The Dukes of Drive.

It’s a song called The Rock, written by Thom Case, a Nashville songwriter and friend of Terry’s. The two used to play music together around Charlotte before Thom made the move to Music City.

The lyrics are a play on the word rock, and the many meanings it can have, ultimately representing the person in life you depend on most.

Baucom is assisted by Balsam Range’s Caleb Smith on guitar, Blue Highway’s Shawn Lane on fiddle and tenor vocal, and his former Boone Creek bandmate Steve Bryant on bass. Bauc cuts the five with Lemons on mandolin and vocals.

Hard copies have been shipped to many bluegrass radio hosts, and should arrive shortly if they haven’t already. Any radio programmers who don’t have a copy can obtain one now from Airplay Direct.
