The Burrows Brothers to Cedar Creek

The Burrows BrothersAdam and Jake Burrows, collectively known as The Burrows Brothers, have left Lonesome Will Mullins and are now booking shows with their own band. They plan to continue performing the soulful, Stanley-influenced traditional bluegrass music that has been their hallmark for several years.

Adam plays guitar and sings lead while Jake handles banjo and tenor vocals. They are assisted by Mike Walker on mandolin, and Wes Deaton on bass, both of whom share in the vocal trios and quartets. Much of the Burrows Brothers material features their brother duets, something they formed this group to showcase.

A debut album is in the works for this North Carolina band, with a Spring release anticipated. They have posted a couple of audio samples on the band web site which demonstrate their mastery of the old time sound.

The Burrows Brothers are represented by Cedar Creek Management.
