The Archetones – A New Kind of Season

Event Details

The Archetones are a new alt-county duo featuring Chris Henry on mandolin and electric guitar.

Chris comes from the bluegrass Henry family –  mom Murphy and dad Red are both celebrated entrepreneurs and musicians – which also spawned another music pro in sister Casey.

He shared a video from his new project, along with a few words.

“My buddy Chris Lovelace and I have made the rounds from punk rock to hip hop and now he’s caught the bluegrass bug and is into the hardcore stuff, so we’ve been recording some of his new songs. We had Liquid (a New York director) come down and shoot this video about three weeks ago. It’s got some good shots of the country (Shenandoah Valley) where we grew up and went to school.”

Monroe-inspired mandolin and acoustic hillbilly rock – what’s not to like?
