Each day one entrant will receive fun prizes from Rhonda, Martha White and Bluegrass Today. On Christmas Day, the winner, drawn at random, will be sent an iPad 3.
Here’s Rhonda announcing Sunday’s Day 3 winner, Rick Hillard.
Enter here to win; one entry per household, per day, will be permitted.
Also part of each 12 Days Of Christmas from Bluegrass Today will be recipes from Rhonda’s kitchen. Today, she shows us how to make real Southern-syle sweet tea.
Herb’s Sweet Tea – (1 gallon recipe)
Step 1: Bring to a boil two and one-half cups of water.
Step 2: Steep ¾ c of Loose Leaf Tea or six regular Lipton tea bags for 5 minutes in the boiling water.
Step 3: Fill gallon pitcher with 14 cups of water. Add 2 cups of sugar or adjust to taste.
Step 4: Remove the tea bags from the boiling water. Pour the steeped tea into the gallon pitcher. Stir well.
Do not add ice until ready to serve.
Serve in glasses of ice (with lemon if preferred).
Don’t forget to stop back each day for a scrumptious recipe from Rhonda’s Kitchen, and be sure to enter online to win!
