Songwriter to Songwriter: Blake Williams

| October 26, 2012 | 1 Comment

This next installment of David Morris’ Songwriter to Songwriter features his discussion with Blake Williams during World of Bluegrass in Nashville last month.

Blake has a long history in bluegrass, having played banjo with both Lester Flatt and Bill Monroe. These days he performs with his wife Kimberly in The Expedition Show.

He and David talk about how he went from writing memorable banjo tunes to composing lyrics, and his uniquely disciplined approach to his craft.
