Singing From The Heart nets $20,000

When Dailey & Vincent announced the release of Singing From The Heart in the summer of 2009, they indicated that proceeds from the project would go to benefit the Tennessee Bible College in Cookeville.

The boys were recently able to make good on their promise, delivering a check for $20,000 to the school. Darrin Vincent was only too happy to see the realization of their dream for this CD.

“We’re so pleased to be able to present this check to the college to fund scholarships so that deserving students can get an education.”

Their interest in making this album, which includes 12 a capella vocal quartets, predated Darin joining up with Jaimie Dailey as a duo. They worked on creating this project from the time that Tennessee Bible College Chancellor Malcolm Hill shared the school’s need for scholarship funds.

Dailey recalls all that transpired before the album saw the light:

“It took several years and the support and participation of a long list of incredible singers, but we were finally able to make this project happen.  To see what it’s done for the college is very gratifying.”

Joining Jamie and Darin on Singing From The Heart are such noted vocalists as Andy Ball from Lonesome River Band, Shawn Lane from Blue Highway and Gospel standouts Glenn Dustin, Anthony Facello. Doyle Lawson is also featured, along with Molly Skaggs, daughter of Sharon White and Ricky Skaggs.
