Ship Of Fools - Pert Near SandstonePert Near Sandstone is releasing a single from their upcoming album, continuing the bluegrass/old time hybrid sound that has brought them to national prominence.

The song is Ship Of Fools, and a limited run of 500 7” vinyl copies will be pressed, signed and numbered for a single release event in Minneapolis on March 29. Remaining copies will be available in stores on April 2.

The band has also created a clever animated video to introduce the song, directed and animated by Emily Fritze.

 

The boys also visited Rock Island, IL recently to record a live sessions for the Daytrotter web site. You can hear the set online, and download it if you’re a Daytrotter member.
