Rob & Trey headed for the old country

Rob Ickes and Trey HensleyRob Ickes and Trey Hensley are taking their acoustic bluegrass/country show to Europe for a ten day run of shows next month. The powerhouse guitar and reso-guitar duo, set off by Trey’s soulful singing, will be making their first visit together to the UK and northern Europe.

Ickes said that they are both excited for the opportunity.

“We start in England, and then head off to Denmark, Sweden and Norway. I’ve never been to Norway and Sweden before, so I’m looking forward to that. My Grandpa was Norwegian, so I guess I’ll be getting back to my roots!”

The tour gets started on April 2 with a pair of dates in Frodsham in northwestern England, followed by three days in Denmark (Esbjerg, Korsør, Copenhagen) and shows in Sweden (Granna) and Norway (Bergen, Moss).

Full details on all the European tour stops can be found online. Rob and Trey have a mighty busy schedule to tackle when they return home in mid-April.
