Ricky Skaggs at IBMA
We had the chance on Tuesday afternoon to speak with Ricky Skaggs about his new record, Music To My Ears, which had just been released earlier that day. You can watch the entire interview on video below.
Ricky shared some details about the songs on the CD, and his deep and abiding affection for bluegrass shines through in every word.
Don’t miss his recollections of how he came to own a vintage mandolin once belonging to Pee Wee Lambert, or the genesis of You Can’t Hurt Ham, one of the album’s standout tracks.

Thanks Ricky for your interview. We all learn a little more when events are documented and shared. The family of a boy from Thacker WV has a little more heritage to be proud of tonight.
