Phil Leadbetter booking again

Phil Leadbetter - original art by Jeff BaileyIn addition to being an award-winning resonator guitarist, Phil Leadbetter was also one of the busiest booking agents in bluegrass prior to his cancer treatments starting in the Spring of 2011. He was the primary agent for J.D. Crowe & the New South while he was a member (and beyond), and had also booked Wildfire and Grasstowne in the past.

Now back playing again after kicking cancer’s butt, Uncle Phil is also dipping a toe into artist representation again, assisting with the booking duties for Dale Ann Bradley, with whom he is currently working.

“I’m not taking on any bands, I’m just going to help share the booking duties with Donna Sullivan who currently books the band. I look forward to speaking to all the promoters that I have worked for in the past, who may be interested in our band. Those who have dealt with me in the past know that I get things done quick, and I do return phone calls and emails. Please contact me at: philibuster1@yahoo.com.”

We hope to hear more soon about Phil’s upcoming solo album. He’s teasing us about some big news to be announced shortly.
