I remember meeeting Curly Ray one year along with my father at Frontier Ranch. My dad was an avid cCurly Ray fan and loved the sound of his fiddle playing. I was with dad that day we met Curly and dad ask him a question as to wheather he knew Toby Stroud? (who was from our home town (Byesville,Ohio) and Curly answered dad , Did Bill Monroe send you over here? Dad got a kick out of that. God rest them both!
