New song and video from James Reams

Rhyme & Season - James Reams & the BarnstormersJames Reams has released a new single and an introductory video from his next album, Rhyme & Season.

It was recorded with the west coast edition of his band, The Barnstormers: Michael Rolland on fiddle, Billy Parker on mandolin, Tyler James on banjo and Dan Meyer on bass. James plays guitar and sings lead.

The song chosen for the single is Songbird, one Reams wrote expressing the two sides of moving on: the one who leaves and the ones left behind.

He is hoping that radio hosts will consider this upbeat number as we approach the holiday season.

“All the songs on this new album will celebrate the perpetual pilgrim in all of us while raising awareness about the different faces of the homeless. National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is coming up November 14-22 and we hope you will give some airtime to this brand new release and help raise awareness about those living on the margins, especially during this season of giving.”

He’s also shared this video of the band tracking the song at Tempest Studios with Clarke Rigsby in Tempe, AZ.

Songbird can be downloaded now from Airplay Direct.
