New Boxcars CD almost done

I caught up yesterday with Adam Steffey, who filled me in on the two biggest events in his life these days. Make that three!

His twin sons, Riley and A.P., are occupying much of his energy, but he’s also been carving out time to work on The Boxcars second album, which is nearly finished, and set for release shortly.

Adam provided a few details…

“The Dad business is awesome! They’re 15 weeks old today and growing like weeds. Simply awesome!

And yes, The Boxcars are putting the finishing touches on our new project as I write, and it’s scheduled for a March release on the Mountain Home label.

All but two of the songs contained on the project came from within the band. Keith Garrett and Ron Stewart have once again written some great tunes, and there’s an original instrumental that I penned as well. Sonya and Becky Isaacs wrote a terrific Gospel song that is also included.

We are really, really excited for folks to hear the new recording and will update everyone on the actual release/availability date as soon as we get confirmation. It won’t be long!

Of course, it will be available at all of our live performances, as well as through our website.”

Can’t wait!
