More great photos from IBMA

In adition to the fine photos taken by our 2010 IBMA shooters (Russ Carson, Christy Reid and Roy Swann), we have found a number of other sites that have images posted.

Cindy Baucom, who co-produced the Awards Show with Trisha Tubbs, got some great shots backstage during both the rehearsal and the show itself. She tells us that she had a blast doing the show (third year in a row), and how much everyone came together for the good of the music.

“It was a real pleasure working to put together these performances and presenters into a show we felt represented bluegrass in a way that would offer every type fan something they could be proud of. Backstage, Dierks Bentley thanked me twice for the opportunity of appearing with his bluegrass heroes on the show. Likewise, Darrell Scott was very appreciative of the chance to perform with his friends, Blue Highway, on their nominated song. It was an honor to have the Scruggs Family on hand, too. Jerry Douglas and The Whites were so relaxed and natural on stage in the hosting role.

The thing I loved best:  there was zero ego involved…everyone had a tremendous amount of respect for everyone else…I think that was the biggest determining factor in a great show.”

Cindy has more photos posted on her Knee Deep In Bluegrass blog.

Ted Lehmann likewise has a wealth of IBMA images on his site, including some recently added from Fan Fest.

There are shots from the stage, from the green room and, and from all over the Convention Center during IBMA week. Ted posted photos all week long, and captured a great cross-section of the many activities that took place last week in Nashville.

Here are a few of his Fan Fest shots. See the rest on his blog.
