Merry Christmas from Dirty Kitchen

Frank Solivan & Dirty KitchenHere’s a bluegrass twist on the 12 days of Christmas…

Frank Solivan has announced that he is giving away his entire new CD, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen as a Christmas gift for bluegrass lovers. Starting today (12/13) and running right through Christmas Eve, one track each day will be available for free download from the band’s web site.

Frank put a little video together to explain the free album promotion.

Today’s initial track is Driftin’ Apart, one of Frank’s original songs. It’s a real barn burner.

Solivan was something of a bluegrass prodigy in the California bluegrass scene, where his dad (also Frank) was a prominent personage. Frank II came east when he joined the US Navy Band Country Current to play mandolin and fiddle, and has remained in the DC area after his retirement.

Dirty Kitchen is a smokin’ hot band, featuring Mike Munford on banjo, Lincoln Meyers on guitar and Stefan Custodi on bass. Frank is a strong tenor vocalist and mando man, plus a first rate songwriter. Guests on the new album include Rob Ickes on resonator guitar, and John Cowan, Megan McCormick and Mooni Klein on harmony vocals.

This is a flat-out fantastic CD, so don’t miss this chance to download it for free! Visit www.dirtykitchenband.com daily from December 13-24 to get it all.
