Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road to Pinecastle

Lorraine Jordan & Carolina RoadPinecastle Records has announced today their signing of Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, with a new, self-titled album to hit in September. Just in time for the Raleigh, NC-based band to help welcome the bluegrass world to their hometown for the 2013 World of Bluegrass celebration.

The group has been fronted for the last ten years by mandolinist Lorraine Jordan, who shares lead singing duties with guitarist Tommy Long. Ben Greene is on banjo, Josh Goforth on fiddle, and John Bradley on bass.

Long is featured on a debut single, All We Ever Do Is Say Goodbye, also released today to bluegrass radio via Airplay Direct. It’s a driving number from Terry Foust and Ray Edwards with a familiar leavin’ theme.
