Lee Roy’s not so wonderful weekend

Event Details

Lee Roy not enjoying his Friday afternoonLee Roy, the mandolin playing half of The Roys, had a weekend to forget, spending much of Friday in the hospital trying to pass a kidney stone. Anyone who has experienced this condition knows that it can be very painful, and not to be wished on your worst enemy.

It turns out that the stone was too large to pass, so they sent him home Friday afternoon, to return today for a visit with a urologist. The minor surgery required to remove the stone is expected some time later this week.

Lee should be fine by the time they head for Iowa next week.

Hang in there, buddy! This too shall pass.
