Kathy Kallick Band howls on Foxhounds

The Kathy Kallick BandFoxhounds is the name of the latest album from the Kathy Kallick Band, set for release today.

They have graciously offered to share the title track with our readers, a song Kathy wrote about a cherished memory of Bill Monroe. Some years ago she spent an evening with the man on his front porch, while they sat quietly taking in the sounds of his foxhounds running in the night.

The song truly calls Big Mon to mind, written very much in his style, complete with foxhound howls.

The Kathy Kallick Band is Kathy on guitar and lead vocal, with Greg Booth on banjo, Annie Staninec on fiddle, Tom Bekeny on mandolin, and Cary Black on bass.

Look of Foxhounds wherever great bluegrass music is sold.
