The folks at Music City Roots, who broadcast live every Wednesday evening from Nashville’s Loveless Barn, also have been filming live sets from the legendary Station Inn. These live sets are also streamed live, but on an irregular schedule.
Earlier this month, an entire evening of bluegrass was captured from The Josh Williams Band. Their April 6 set included a number of songs from their upcoming Rounder album, along with guest appearances from Darrin Vincent, Rob Ickes and others. WSM’s Keith Bilbrey also interviews Josh as part of the program, which runs to nearly three hours.
Here’s the video, which highlights the talents of Josh and his crack band, plus Williams’ personal charm as an entertainer. The program begins about 2 minutes in.
Other recent shows have featured Volume Five, The Hillbenders, Bobby Osborne, and Farewell Drifters. Check them all out online.
